George Ledin Jr. died peacefully at an assisted living facility on the morning of February 11, 2022, after many years of declining health due to Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Jean Wasp, Administration and Finance

Jean Ann Wasp died suddenly of natural causes in her home in Cotati, California, on the evening of December 15, 2020. She was the University's Press Secretary (perhaps not her official title) from 2005 until her retirement in 2015.

Jeffrey Langley

Director and Chair of the Departments of Performing Arts, Retired

We are sorry to share that Jeff Langley, one of the creators of the Green Music Center, has passed away. Jeff joined the faculty of Sonoma State University in 1997 as Director and Chair of the Departments of Performing Arts.

"Judy died last week, on March 8. She had cancer for the second time. She was in the nursing home in Louisville, Kentucky, where her parents died, by her own choice. At least she was being well taken care of, but she was suffering.

Luiza Amodeo

It is with regret that we pass along news of the death of Luiza Amodeo, who served Sonoma State as Dean of Education from 1987 to 1992. She was a member of SSU-ERFSA since she left the campus.
